SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Develop and optimize audio post processing algorithms such as EQ
        Port advanced audio algorithm or acoustic algorithm on TI DSP
        Collaborate with software engineering team members and quality assurance teams to ensure the successful execution of embedded software implementations
        Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
        Provide unit tests and documentation for software modules.
        Function within highly talented specialized team environment and coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks
       

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Requires a MS Degree in Acoustic, digital signal processing, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and should have at least 3+ years of related experience

Required Experience & Knowledge:
•        Familiar with different audio post processing algorithms or acoustic algorithm
•        Experience with audio algorithm porting & optimization on DSP is a big plus
•        Strong C /C++ and assemble language programming skill
•        Excellent English language skills (fluent in spoken and written, can host conference call in English)
•        Detail oriented

Desired Experience and Knowledge:
        Hands-on experience with audio processing & acoustic algorithm & digital signal processing
        DSP implementation experience is big plus
        Familiar with embedded system : Linux
        Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment is a plus
        Experience in TI OMAP development is a plus
