Position1:Senior Software Engineer

Critical Job Elements
Understand system requirements.
Define software architecture.
Contribute to project estimation and planning.
Write software documentations (feasibility study report, design documentation, test specification, test report).
Contribute to software engineering process improvement.
Assist colleagues with training or skill development, mentor junior engineers.
Cooperate with hardware engineer and test engineer.
Report work result clearly to software manager and project manager.

Responsibility Level
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years experience in embedded/real time OS development is required.
Skilled in software design and C/C++ programming
Must have rich knowledge at Linux.
Proficient at OS Core, Driver, BSP, Porting, Boot loader etc.
Familiar with computer hardware protocol like USB, PCI Express, I2C, SPI, LPC, IPMI etc.
Familiar with software configuration management like Clear Case
Familiar with TCP/IP network protocol is a big plus
Familiar with VxWorks is a plus.
Familiar with X86 architecture and other Intel technology such as AMT, VT, TXT etc. is a plus
Deep understanding of software engineering process and software quality control is required.
Network protocol development is a plus
Strong English written and verbal communications skills are required.
Self-motivate, accountable, innovative.

- 5ys of software development/test experience involving MS Windows and/or  embedded Linux based programming, for embedded Linux programming, experience in BSP/driver development would be a plus

- Good knowledge in C/C++ programming, OOP

- Disciplined in software development and verification methodologies

- High quality standard and attention to details

- Proactive and highly self-motivated

- Average Oral English
