Position Description:

•Works as Mechanics Engineer to support Conceptual Design Team in Mechanics conducting the earliest phases of our product development in a cross functional environment before gradually handing over the task to a detailed design team.
•All the work needs to be done with seamless teamwork between different teams.
•You are responsible for 3D/2D CAD modeling. Simulation and documentation the best solutions possible for the mechanical parts of module in high volume manufactured cell phones.
•You will work with many aspect of concept development, but your special focus will be ergonomics, usability and perceived quality.

Requirements:

•BS/MS of Mechanical Engineering or ergonomics. With minimum 5 years relevant product design and development experience. Basic CAD (CATIA / I-DEAS) skills.
•Have knowledge in manufacturing process of plastic and metal parts includes raw material, tooling, molding, metal stamping etc. Basic knowledge of post-manufacturing process like Electro-plating, Painting, Printing, Welding. etc.
•It will be preferred if you have experience with conceptual design, Usability and Perceived quality.
•The ability to administer your time, plan and manage your own development tasks
•Must be good in oral and written English.

You should have an open minded, outgoing and visionary personality with a good mix of creative and analytical skills. You should be a team player and good at establishing personal networks, and be able to accommodate new knowledge effortlessly.
