我国在境内进行一次陆基中段反导拦截技术试验

中国11日宣布成功进行了一次中段反导拦截试验，迅速引起轰动，外电多把它与美国最近售台“爱国者”导弹的动作相联系。中国方面还没有具体的反导试验地点的报道，有关专家对《环球时报》记者说，进行中段反导拦截试验的应该是中国的国防科学工业部门，这是中国第一次正式向外宣布自己的反导试验消息。目前世界上只有美国和日本进行过类似中段反导拦截试验。

　　中国官方媒体发布的消息很简短：中国11日在境内进行了一次陆基中段反导拦截技术试验，试验达到了预期目的。中国外交部表示，这一试验是防御性的，不针对任何国家。

　　台湾“联合新闻网”迅速转载这一消息，并把它与美国向台湾出售武器联系起来，称“上周，美国政府才刚宣布完准备出售爱国者—3型导弹给台湾，今天中国就在境内进行一项陆基中段反导弹拦截技术试验。”

　　美联社随后转引了新华社关于中国反导试验成功的消息，并称对于这次试验，中国方面没有透露多少细节。报道还称，在中国军费每年以10%以上的速度高速增长的刺激下，中国军力正处于技术大提升的阶段。导弹技术被认为是中国的一项特殊的力量，使它能够缩窄与美国及其他国家武装的差距。

　　日本共同社11日晚也报道称，中国11日进行了弹道导弹拦截系统试验，目前尚不知道试验的详细情况。该报道还说，7日，美国宣布将向台湾出售“爱国者”导弹系统后，中国外交部副部长何亚非对美方行为表示强烈反对，称“该行为损害了中国的安全、台湾海峡的和平稳定”，因此中国这次导弹试验很可能和美国向台湾军售有关。

　　不过，中国人民大学的金灿荣教授对《环球时报》说，他的直觉感觉中国这次进行反导试验与美国向台湾出售爱国者-3导弹扯不上关系，因为爱国者-3是防御性武器，而不是进攻性武器。

John The Clinton administration (Ron Brown) approved the sale of a General Dynamics missle production facility in Ohio to the Chinese. They packaged it up lock, stock and barrel (and blueprints) and put it on a train to San Diego and on a ship to China. Ron Brown was called to testify before congress how and why it was approved (his son was a registered lobbyist for the Chinese). In a very convenient coincidence, the plane carrying Brown crashed on its way home for him to testify.This reportedly gave the Chinese a twenty-five year jump start on guidance systems. LookingUp, this wassn't 1940s rocketry. It was cutting-edge computer guidance systems technology.
