1.2 Primitive Message Definitions
In this document, we use four kinds of Primitive messages:
1) Request Message
2) Response Message
3) Indication Message
4) Request Indication Message
All Request Messages are suffixed with “_REQ”, response messages are suffixed with “_RSP”, indication
messages end with “_IND”, and request indication message end with “_REQ_IND”.
When MMI want to use the function of Protocol Stack, MMI must send a request message to L4A. After L4A finish
this request, L4A shall send a response message to MMI. When some events happen (e.g. like incoming call,
alarm), L4A shall send an indication message to MMI. When user in the remote console (RMMI) makes something
change or executes some AT commands, L4A shall request MMI to synchronize changes by send a requestindication
message.
