China R&D Systems and Technology is further strengthening its capacity on IMS. In the light of our full service broadband ambition and ongoing headquarter and field trials, we will intensify the cooperation with our customers. The optimal architecture, products and features and their introduction shall be defined in a close dialogue with the major players in China mainland.
To do so, we are looking for a strong candidate to enhance our team in Beijing. Main focus is on driving the technology trial projects from a technical perspective and to influence and contribute to enterprise specifications in key domains. Furthermore we take an active role on the evolution of telephony over different access and core network technologies.


The role resides in a triangle between our development units, the local market unit and the Chinese decision making bodies.

     ·
M.Sc. or above in Computer science, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineer or equivalent
·
very good understanding of IMS and general Internet technology (e.g. SIP, Diameter) is required
·
proven track record as System Architect in the Telecom industry
·
at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical area (e.g. 2G/3G/4G mobile networks’ architecture, CCSA/3GPP/IETF standardization)
·
excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
·
fond of working in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
·
fluent in verbal and written English
