Senior hardware designer
  Job Description:
1.        Responsible for feasibility analysis of requirements input from Product Line Manager during project initiation phase
2.        Guide the design team from technical perspective to ensure requirements implemented with cost-effective, high quality approach.
3.        Review test plan and drive cross-functional team (SW, HdS, Test) to verify HW design in line with functionality/quality requirements
4.        Take charge of reviewing critical documents from feature development to secure quality
5.        Lead the design team to analyze issues detected during design, verification, compliance test, manufacturing and field deployment
6.        Prepare guideline and strategy as input to design and review to ensure design consistency
7.        Support competence leader to make competence improvement plan for design community and support them to achieve their technical development goal
Requirements：
1.        More than 6 years working experience with focus on HW development activities
2.        Rich experience in HW digital/logic/analog circuit design and debug
3.        Rich experience in xDSL/POTS/VoIP/Ethernet hardware design and verification

2. Coordinate and carry out de-risking test and compliance test(ETSI/CCC/ANSI) in internal lab and compliance test agencies, according to project schedule
3. Provide timely report on failing test cases, noncompliance and other issues
4. Work together with assigned project team member to investigate product issues and find resolving solutions
5. Develop and maintain high quality test reports and other related technical files for all assigned projects

2. Type of Degree: Bachelor Degree
Experience:
1. 3+ years of test experience
2. Specific Knowledge:
3. Good spoken and written English
4. Experience in access network
5. Knowledge on Ethernet, DSL, VoIP, EPON, GPON, TDM
6. Familiar with testing tools, e.g. Ethernet switch, packet test gear, Voice test equipment

SW Development Engineer (Protocol)
Job Description:
1. Write functional specifications and high-level design specifications
2. Design, develop, enhance and maintain embedded system software (protocol related).
3. Follow standard design and implantation processes and procedures.
4. Perform subsystem test, feature test and product test.      
5. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
Education:
1. Major in: Telecom, Computer Science or Electronics.
2. Type of Degree: Bachelor Degree or above.
Experience:
1. 5+ years experience in embedded software development.
2. Specific Knowledge:
Strong C and C++ skills and experience with object-oriented development methodology.
Protocol related SW development experience in one or more of the following protocols: PPPoE, 802.1x, IGMP, DHCP, VLAN etc.
3. Good knowledge of SW development process and software product life cycle.
4. Excellent Embedded Systems and Real Time applications development experience, particularly in VxWorks, Linux.
5. Experience in a Unix/Linux development environment is a plus.
6. Familiar with EPON/GPON technology is a plus.
7. Experience in Clearcase is a plus.
8. Good spoken and written English.
