A software engineering position is available at Cisco System in Shanghai, China, supporting several key Cisco product lines.

This position will require you to write software from the ground up to automate simulation tools and processes used by Design Engineers. You must be proficient with most of the following languages: XML/HTML, Perl, C, C++, Java, and Visual Basic. You must be able to learn new languages as needed including proprietary languages such as Skill from Cadence Allegro or Matlab (training will be provided). You will also need to become familiar with the front end user interfaces of simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, CST MicroStripes, or Ansoft HFSS in a Windows environment. You will work closely with Design Engineers who will provide the input/output specification of the software to be written.

You must be a self starter, independent, creative, and have good interpersonal skills. A BS or MS in Computer Science with a high GPA is also required. The ideal candidate should typically have between 0 to several years of experience.
