ECAD Principal Engineer（beijing)
Role description
The role of ECAD Expert is working as the technical lead in HW layout group. He/She is in charge of overall ECAD related technical tasks and the deliveries from ECAD/PCBA/FPCBA point of view, and the knowledge sharing and team coaching activities. He/She shall have the expertise in ECAD tool/system maintenance, PCB/FPC fabrication state of the art, PCBA/FPCBA assembly technology, deep DFX experience, and SI/PI/EMC simulation knowledge as well.
Operational responsibilities
1.Ownership of PCB/FPC layout design guidelines.
2.Lead the ECAD tool framework optimization.
3.Lead the ECAD library standards and document templates in CMMI point of view.
4'Good understanding of IPC standards in PCB/FPC fabrication point of view.
5.Good PCBA/FPCBA expertise for handheld products in layout design point of view.
6.Good experience in SI/PI/EMC simulation and circuit analysis both logical and board level.
7.Lead the peer review team in ECAD technical function.
8.Intensely collaboration with internally the R&D, PC-DC, DFM and SMT team and externally the PCB/FPC suppliers.
9.Documentation of work progress and results.
Development responsibilities
1.Continuous improvement of personal know-how about the related technology and used tools and processes.
2.Full technical support and team coach to PCB/FPC layout engineers.
3.Research of PCB/FPC technology and improvement of electronic design processes.
4.Contribution to ECAD tool optimization or script toolkit development and the design re-use for work efficiency enhancement of layout group.
