该公司在2005年被宝利通公司收购之后变为宝利通全资子公司，作为在中国北京的研发中心，目前宝利通公司加大对中国市场的投资，所以现在急需高级软件工程师

目前比较着急的2个职位是音频算法工程师和JAVA方向的视频开发工程师，职位信息如下：
Position: Algorithm Engineer
Location: Beijing, China



Introduction:
Polycom is extending its R&D activities in China. At this position, you will be part of a global team and work side by side with design teams in US. You will gain access to Polycom technologies and develop solutions with Polycom partners. You will work with senior engineers with oversea track of records at companies like Polycom, Nortel, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for developping and maintaining core  technologies of Polycom products, including but not limited to video and audio codecs, image processing, and subsystem integration.  He/she will work in a dynamic environment, interact  with different functional groups, including development team in US.

Requirements:
1. Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Ready to make commitments and have "can do" attitude
3. Detail-oriented and strong analytical/problem solving capabilities
4. Good communication skills in Chinese and English
5. Self driven, creative and result oriented.

Technical Skills:
1. 2+ years embedded software development with C/C++
2. In-depth knowledge on video and audio encoding algorithms
3. Prior experience in performance profiling, software optimization, and writing efficient code
4. Prior experience in video/audio sub system integration



JAVA Senior development

Responsibilities:
1.Customer’s requirement analysis
2.New products design/development
3.Existing products development support and new features development
4.Work with the team to ensure the software releases are delivered on time, with high quality
5.design/development for the automation framework
6.test case writing

Qualifications:
1.Master's degree in computer science or highly related field
2.4+ years software development
3.ready to make commitments and have "can do" attitude
4.Analytical/problem solving capabilities with proven software development/debugging skills
5.Appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
6.Good debugging skills with networking device
7.Excellent English skills, both in written and oral
8.Good communication skills

Technical Skills:
1.Solid software development with Java, Junit, web service,xml, xslt
2.experience on C++ is a big plus
3.experience with test methodologies and test tools is strongly desired
4.Willingness to work across software layers and learn many different tools and technologies
5.Deep understanding of TCP/IP, H.323, SIP is a big plus
6.experience with video conferencing is a big plus

年薪的范围是“15－20W
该职位的要求对英语都会有，管理层都是老外，所以平时会用英语来做工作语言，要求英语口语流利。
