Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Telecom related discipline.
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Strong C++ experience in a commercial environment
• Experience of working on embedded systems.
• Solid Object Oriented Design experience, proficient in software design using UML
• Proven track record of leading other engineers in design and development
• Experience in software engineering project life cycles and processes
• Very good verbal and written English skills
• Team player, delivery focused, self starter & good communication skills to wide set of audience types and forum (engineers, engineering managers, customers, senior management), influencing and negotiating skills/experience.
Preferred:
Symbian OS experience
• Excellent understanding of Embedded Systems
• Mobile phone OS development
• Experience within telecommunications industry standards relating to communication protocols.
• Proven knowledge of existing and emerging mobile phone technologies
• Work experience in a related international environment
• Experience with Bluetooth, IrDA, USB or OBEX
• Exposure to TCP/IP, UI and Kernel. |
