1.Digital Design Engineer

Job Overview:
The Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for designing our Ethernet NIC/Switch and SOC ASIC's. You will work closely with our architecture/algorithm engineers to explore ideas for next generation products and then develop RTL to tern these ideas into customer solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•        Chip features specification and RTL design
•        Synthesis, verification, timing.
•        FPGA emulation, lab validation and debugging.

Qualifications:
•        BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, MS preferred.
•        3 years experience with Verilog programming, logic synthesis and gate timing. A proven record of delivering successful ASIC's to the market is preferred.
•        One or more advantages as following are highly desirable: A strong background in digital communication and networking protocols; IC Design experiences in Ethernet NIC or switches; Experiences with PCIe.  
•        Good communication skills in English.

Skills/Experience:
•        Must be proficient in RTL coding, logic synthesis, gate-level simulations.
•        Good knowledge of IC design backend flows.
•        Experiences in IC life-cycle from conception, design, verification, top-level netlist with pads to tape-out, chip-testing and mass-production.
•        FPGA, PCB or embedded SW skill is a plus.


2.System Engineer(FPGA or RF)
Shanghai, China
This position will require development of FPGA systems to emulate future products, create environments,
and tests to validate designs, work with digital and RF systems, create reference design, and debug complex
system issues.
All tasks need to be accomplished with high quality results and according to schedules.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in EE or CS. 2-5 years of relevant HW/SW experience.
- Experience with wireless communication systems (preferably WiFi, bluetooth).
- Experience with board level designs.
- Hands on lab experience using analog and digital test/measurement equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with FPGA design and embedded systems desired.
- Able to deliver results on schedule.
- Highly motivated and flexible team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Design and simulation using Verilog HDL.Familiar with fpga synthesis and realization tools.
- Low level SW development to validate embedded systems.
- Candidate must be able to recommend architecture and algorithm improvements on the chip and system
level with good communication skills and an investigative spirit.
- Ability to be reactive to customer needs coupled with problem solving and debug capabilities


3.software Engineer –Shanghai & Shenzhen

QUALIFICATION (DETAIL):
Education:
Ø        BSEE/CS minimum.
Ø        MSEE/CS preferred.
Experience:
Ø         At least 2 years embedded software development working experiences
Ø         Hands on experience with embedded CPU (ARM/MIPS) platform sw such as BSP, Driver, boot loader, porting is a plus, etc.
Ø         Familiar with WiFi system, WLAN Routers, network, and gateway protocol.
Ø         Hands on software development experience in embedded OS, including Linux/xBSD and C programming.  
Ø         Eager to learn new technology and Self motivated, good team work player
Ø         Good command of English and Chinese both in speaking and writing.  
Ø         Ability to be reactive to customer needs coupled with superior problem solving and debug capabilities.
Ø         Knowledge and experience in telecomm system, e.g. xDSL, Cable, xPON a plus.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:

Ø         Customer software design using Atheros' product.
Ø         The role establishes the person as the technical expert for Atheros' based products.
Ø         Must have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth technical responses to customers and to the company's FAEs during the pre-sales process.
Ø         Once engaged with a customer, must be able to map out the technical details of a system integration plan, from project start through mass production.
Ø         Will also be involved in qualifying and working with third party partners.
Ø         Will work closely with Atheros' development engineering and program management.


4.Sr. Manager Software (GPS)-Shanghai

QUALIFICATION (DETAIL):
Education:
Ø        Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering;
Experience:
Ø         Minimum 8 years of working experience
Ø         Understanding of embedded system and at least 3 years of experience in embedded software design;
Ø         Project or personnel management experience of at least 1 year;
Ø         Strong verbal and written English communication skills

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:

To build, manage, and grow software teams and capabilities in Shanghai. Software capabilities include 1. Application; 2. Testing/QA; and 3. Development. They are listed below:
Application
Ø         Porting hosted GPS software to different platforms such as Linux, eCOS, Nucleus, and WinCE;
Ø         Developing integrated GPS system hardware and software solutions based on existing GPS technology to support customers;
Ø         Developing integrated software combining Bluetooth, GPS, and/or WiFi to support combo chips;
Ø         Supporting customer-specific development using SDK (software development kit) and SPK (software porting kit)
Testing/QA
Ø         Building and expanding systematic software testing and QA capacity and capability;
Ø         Implementing and improving company testing and QA process;
Ø         Building road testing and user scenario-specific testing capabilities
Development
Ø         Supporting software development of core GPS software including navigation and measurement in both hosted and embedded environments;
Ø         Software coding support of AGPS, extended ephemeris, dead reckoning, etc.
