GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for electromagnetic compatibility design of PC desktop and notebook systems. Duties include working with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of EMC mitigation
are implemented into a product design to support compliance to all country regulatory requirements. This includes initial as well as sustaining product compliance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Responsible for all EMC aspects of assigned product development projects.
2.Planning the EMC schedules and preparing the related documents to achieve the design goal.
3.Providing EMC design consulting to design teams and OEM/ODM, including mechanical, schematic and layout reviews and approval etc.
4.Performing EMC verification test, EMC issue debugging and EMC problem resolution leadership and providing solutions on schedule.
5.Review EMC test data and reports, including formal Compliance test reports.Provide necessary documentation and support compliance team for EMC submittals to get the approvals.
6.Review and approve design changes (ECRECO) for impact to EMC compliance and performance.
7.Regular technical con-call with global EMC Team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1.Working experience of EAD tools like Allego etc.
2.PC knowledge of OS, BIOS, drivers, and architecture
3.Strong EMC hands-on issue trouble-shooting skill. Including experience with debugging equipment like spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, antennas, oscilloscopes etc.
4.Familiar with EMC standards and testing for FCC, VCCI, MIC, BSMI, UL, CSA, CE, and CCC etc.
5.Self-motivated individual and a team player with good communication skills (verbal and written) in a multi-function engineering team.
6.Working experience in electronic product development.
7.Team leadership skills.
EDUCATION:
Minimum:Electrical Bachelor Degree
Preferred:Master Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:At least 6 years relevant work experience required.
