MSM codec to speaker amplifier input (trace separation)
This is driven by the instantaneous voltage difference between the traces. The idea is to not allow any worst case, peak voltage arcs from one trace to the other. IPC-D-275 specifies a separation of 4 mils for peak AC or DC 0 to 15 volts for internal conductors and 5mils for external coated (surface layer) conductors. A typical recommended trace separation of 5 mils should be implemented.
