【简 介】:WiMAX is a wireless technology that provides broadband
data at rates over 3 bits/second/Hz. In order to increase
the range and reliability of WiMAX systems, the IEEE
802.16-2004 standard supports optional multiple-antenna
techniques such as Alamouti Space-Time Coding (STC),
Adaptive Antenna Systems (AAS) and Multiple-Input
Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems. In this paper, we
focus on techniques that do not require channel
knowledge at the transmitter, which include both
Alamouti STC and MIMO, but not AAS.
