Challenged with designing multiple independent transceivers into a single cellular handset? This program will provide design strategies for successful integration and coexistence of Bluetooth? with GSM and other 2.5G/3G technologies. We’ll look at the importance of in-band and out-of-band performance criteria and describe the key parameters and specifications from the relevant standards. Measurements that define an optimized design will be covered, as well as strategies for improving performance.
The presenter will demonstrate a technique for measuring the performance of a Bluetooth? cellular handset in a radiated environment. By measuring the specific RF parameters of the chip set, antenna, and interface electronics then the Bluetooth? design can be optimized for use with a variety of wireless technologies.
Who Should Attend:
Engineering managers, RF design and test engineers & technicians concerned with integration of Bluetooth into GSM and other 2.5G/3G cellular telephones.
Presented By: Tim Masson, Senior Technical Consultant, Agilent Technologies, Inc.
