【简　介】:The GPS core of the BCM4751 uses a host-based
integration architecture that splits processing
functions between the GPS chip and the CPU on the
host system. This software is compatible with
Broadcom’s existing GPS solution, the BCM4750.
These processing tasks for the GPS receiver have
been divided such that the BCM4751 does most of
the computationally intensive operations, while
leaving the host software to implement the final
calculations that may be affected by carrier and
platform specific requirements. Demands on the host
CPU are minimal and no real time requirements are
imposed. The Broadcom® GPS Location Library
software API gives designers unfettered access to the
BCM4751’s advanced capabilities.
