2. Integration Environment of GGE Protocol Stack System
For a tremendous system, particularly GGE Protocol Stack System based on handset, we have to confront thousands of hundreds of documents, including source code files and other references to development and design. In the case of this condition, we must have more integrated methods to deal with this task or we may bog down from documents. Obviously, it is so necessary for anyone to manage the corresponding documents more scrupulously than before.
What method is better to dispose of the problem just mentioned than others? Currently, the more popular script languages, such as Perl and Python, and the Make Tool like GNUMAKE, shall have capability of effectively organizing all source code files in GGE Protocol Stack System and shaping the uniform file organization architecture and then generating dependencies amongst all models based on GGE Protocol Stack System. And then, the compile, link and target image of the whole platform of GGE Protocol Stack System will depend on the file organization architecture. At the same time, other tools are also very important, for example C compiler, Assembler, Archiver, Linker and Hex Conversion Utility based upon the target platform, on the assumption that all source code developed is based on C language or Assembly language. In terms of these tools above, these documents will be managed automatically, as shown by Figure 3.
