* Work with the BIOS and service teams to implement functions that improve the diagnosability of platform problems. *  support manufacturing and the field in applications of the service processor to reduce manufacturing and service costs. [52RD.com]

This position is for a BIOS engineer to provide customization, debugging and sustaining support for Sun's x86/x64 server products. Main responsibilities includes triage of problems, debugging, and providing bug fixes.[52RD.com]

Essential Functions: Provide program managment and software release support to NSG's Revenue Product Engineering group. The responsibilities include: [52RD.com]

- Keep track of software releases and schedules for BIOS, OS, Test, and QA [52RD.com]
- Run SW meetings; coordinate features and bugs fixes schedules with hardware and OS teams; address dependencies in hardware and software schedules. [52RD.com]
- Run bug court, generate bug lists and reports, ensure bugs and escalations are being addressed in a timely fashion [52RD.com]
- Build and release patches, generate soft CD and create Web Postings. [52RD.com]
- Work with Legal Dept to ensure compliance [52RD.com]
