Embedded sw engineer（Linux，TCP/IP necessary）
Responsibilities:
Boot loaders
BSP/Drivers for wireless chips
Base platform SDK
To perform Silicon testing for wireless chips
To write technical documents for platform software
To provide technical support and training to FAE and customers

Qualifications:
BS/MS in CS/EE or equivalent;
At least 2 years embedded software development working experiences
Demonstrated working experience on embed CPU (ARM/MIPS) platform software
such as BSP, Driver, boot loader etc. experience on RTOS or LINUX/xBSD
porting is a plus. Demonstrated working experience on wireless product
development, well understanding wireless protocls such as wifi, cellular
standards. Eager to learn new technology and Self motivated, good team
work player Good command of English and Chinese both in speaking and writing.


SDC Gemini Software Manager (GPS is necessary)
Atheros Communications is a leading developer of semiconductor system solutions for wireless communications products. The Atheros software development team is looking for an individual who will manage and lead product development a new wireless market.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this position are:
 Lead software team to design and develop high quality embedded software
 Communicate and coordinate with other design team
 Provide guidance on architecture, design, and development of key features to differentiate Atheros silicon
 Assess and scope customer feature requests to determine engineering project plan
 Support software releases during test and release cycles
Qualifications
The person in this role should have the following capabilities and qualifications:
 Education: MSEE/CS required

CAD and library support engineer
Job Description :
1. Support the usage of backend CAD tools for custom layout, timingdriven place and route, design verification (DRC, ERC, LVS) and RC extraction
2. Maintain uptodate technology files, verification decks and library model files.
3. Develop and maintain scripts to automate design flow
4. Write application notes and document CAD processes
5. Maintain and support library releases
Job Requirements :
1. Good understanding of analog and digital IC design flow
2. Experienced in backend design tools and methodologies, library views & DRC/LVS verification decks
3. Experienced in scripting languages
4. Ability to write Perl/C-shell/Skills script to do routine jobs.
5. Ability to write/debug drc/lvs/xrc runset file.

Senior Software Engineer (Network Protocol Software) （Switch/network card）
Atheros Communications is a leading developer of semiconductor system solutions. The Atheros software development team is looking for an individual who will lead Protocol Software development projects for new silicon targeting Ethernet applications.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this position are:
 Design, develop and integrate network protocol software including
o VLAN/LAG/QoS features
o Port Mirroring, LAN aggregation, STP, RSTP, MSTP protocols
o L2 protocols such as GVRP, GMRP
o L3 protocols
 Design and develop API's in the form of an SDK for customers
 Perform integration and emulation testing for Ethernet switch chips
 Interface with hardware teams on ASIC design features and programming model
 Assess and scope customer feature requests to determine engineering project plan
 Support software releases during test and release cycles
 Provide technical support and training to the field engineers and customers
 Interact with customers and partners for project requirements and delivery
Qualifications
The person in this role should have the following capabilities and qualifications:
Technical
 BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
 4 to 6 years of applicable work experience
 Experience with L2 and L3 network protocols and security concepts
 Experience with network management protocols such as SNMP
 Knowledge of multi-threading and synchronization in a driver environment
 Strong understanding of OS kernel internals especially Linux/Unix
 Familiarity with hardware debugging
 Product architecture, design, implementation and testing experience
 Experience with OS tools and scripts such as makefiles, PERL, shell scripts
 Experience with full software life cycle and delivery mechanisms
Non Technical
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Software Build and Test Engineer（Switch/network card）

Atheros Communications is a leading developer of semiconductor system solutions for wireless communications products. The Atheros software development team is looking for an individual who will develop the build and test infrastructure for all our products.
Responsibilities

?        Develop and maintain a documented centralized build infrastructure for all applications to support various customers and platforms
?        Perform software builds as needed
?        Administer and maintain source control structure including all tagging and branching schemes
?        Define packaging requirements to hand-off release builds from software to other organizations
?        Work with other organizations in the company to ensure a successful roll-out of production builds
?        Develop and maintain build and test infrastructure for software build and unit testing
?        Maintain test beds set aside for functional testing by software developers
?        Support Software Engineers and QA Engineers as needed during software releases
?        Must be willing to work extra hours for urgent situations (scheduled & unscheduled)
Qualifications

?        Demonstrated ability to manage complex source control trees, including branching strategies, gatekeeper protocols, intricate merging/rollback scenarios and maintaining multiple, active versions of several different products simultaneously.  Knowledge of Perforce is a strong plus.
?        Must have the ability to coordinate numerous, rapid-fire, commercial-quality software releases on a tight schedule with minimal impact to developers and test personnel.  This will require strong communication between development managers, QA personnel and the release team.  Experience with Installshield is a plus.
?        Proven ability to organize and maintain both common and product-specific code in an efficient manner to facilitate reasonable and appropriate code re-use and developer productivity.  Strong, broad knowledge of general software development and build best practices is required.
?        Ability to develop, modify and maintain applications of moderate complexity, written in C, C++, Perl, Expect, HTML/CGI in both Linux and Microsoft Windows environments (applications and embedded) is essential.
?        Aptitude for independently developing and maintaining comprehensive script-based testing frameworks for use with multiple products is vital including, expertise in automated unit testing, regression testing, system testing and negative testing.  Experience with embedded testing or development of embedded test frameworks is a strong plus.
?        Must have the ability to generate written testing methodologies, test plans, test result analyses and execution instructions for an audience of developers and test personnel.
?        Must be able to respond effectively and proactively to changes in development priorities for both build-related and test-related issues, coordinating the consequences of these changes across a large engineering organization, through written or verbal means.
?        Experience with wireless network testing is a plus.
?        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Requires 4-6 years of applicable work experience
